The Blogger Spotlight: Featuring Zeina

NAME: Zeina

BLOG PAGE: Writingwithanopenheart

Zeinaโ€™s page is simple, direct and honest. I enjoy reading her creative writings; I have always been a fan of her work. Sheโ€™s very sweet, she likes Gillian Flynn very much. She likes Celine, Madonna and Movie Evita. She is also a photographer, and I think thatโ€™s amazing, I mean, a writer/photographer? Thatโ€™s cool right?

As a writer, actually โ€œaspiringโ€ writer, I love reading the works of other people, maybe because I think that I am not really good at it, so I want to try and learn, I want to be able to improve my skills. Zeinaโ€™s page helped me a lot, I love her imagination, I love the simplicity that sheโ€™s trying to express, and I love the honesty of her writings. She writes outstanding poems and her narrative is also impressive. You can totally learn a lot from her experiences.

I asked Zeina a few questions just to get to know her better.

Iโ€™ve always been shy of sharing my prose, so blogging has boosted my confidence to publish my writings. It has also introduced me to a lot of talented and kind people who share the same passion as me.

I love stories of people who have overcome a dark phase of life and arenโ€™t afraid to share it. Kids who have gone through traumatic events are also a wonderful inspiration to me. I find their smiles and ability to move forward simply astonishing. As for motivation, Iโ€™ve spoken to a lot of writers, some are now close friends and they have taught me a lot about this process. They always know the right things to say when Iโ€™m about to quit.

This is a tough question since I am not very good in writing titles. I think Iโ€™d call the book; โ€œA Blessed Journeyโ€ because despite all the struggles Iโ€™ve been through, I believe that there is always a way out and thereโ€™s always something wonderful to look forward to.

“To weep to others pain and to smile to others happiness is a part of what makes us human.” — Zeina

  10. With the passing of the Daily Post, this is certainly a fantastic way for people to discover new blogs to read (whether such great timing was accidental or intentional matters not). Kudos for doing something selfless and positive for the WP community.
I would gladly put forward my own page to be spotlighted. ๐Ÿ™‚
