Paradisus

The silence concealed the cimmerian atmosphere
The nipping wind serenaded my ruptured heart
My tears collided with esoteric despair
Crumbling, drowning

Our hearts etched with years of denial
Desires burning no longer
Our story pervaded with perrenial guilt
Barely escaping the downfall

We stood cowardly upon shattered vows
Memories fading painfully as you walked away
We didn’t say goodbye, not a word
Our heats did, unquietly.

    1. Yes. I can’t relate to this poem that I actually wrote because my love life is literally lit, I just gotta do something sad and depressing. Haha. But, I think those two people fell out of love beyond repair and it finally reached the end. 😦

  2. A beautiful but heart rending description of how love fades and people part with not as much as a good bye. Sometimes we exist in a relationship because it’s familiar but it is without passion or desire. Relatable and well written.

  3. Thank you for reaching out. I am glad I found your page. Your words are powerful and are used with such great expression. The emotions are felt, raw and open. I can relate to this due to a recent heartbreak I have gone through. Your words express my feelings so well.
